Privacy Policy

        QuizBaaz ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application QuizBaaz ("the App").
    

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

You can use QuizBaaz without creating an account (Guest Mode). If you choose to sign in with Google, we collect:

Name — to personalize your profile and leaderboard
Email Address — for account identification
Profile Photo — if you choose to use your Google photo as your avatar

1.2 Gameplay Data

When you play quizzes or battles, we store:

Quiz results, scores and answer history
Coins, gems, XP, level, streaks and other in-game rewards
Shop items and inventory purchases (in-game currency only)
Leaderboard entries and daily quiz participation

1.3 Profile and Content Images

If you use your Google profile photo, its URL may be stored with your profile so the photo can be shown in the App. Built-in player avatars are App content. Authorized administrators may upload avatar and shop artwork to Google Firebase Storage for display in the App.

1.4 Device, Advertising and Notification Data

Google AdMob may process advertising identifiers, IP address, device information, ad interactions and diagnostic data to serve and measure ads. If you enable notifications, OneSignal and Google Firebase Cloud Messaging may process an app installation or push-subscription identifier, device information, language and notification interactions to deliver and measure notifications.

1.5 Local Data

Guest progress, preferences and cached gameplay information may be stored locally on your device. Local data may remain on the device until you clear the App's storage or uninstall the App.

1.6 No Real-Money Transactions

QuizBaaz does not process any real-money payments or in-app purchases. All rewards (coins, gems) are earned through gameplay.

2. How We Use Your Information

To operate the App, including quizzes, battles and leaderboards
To display your profile and achievements to you
To rank players and publish daily champions
To respond to support requests

2.1 Advertising

The App displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. AdMob may use device identifiers and usage data to deliver and measure ads, including personalized ads where permitted by law. You can limit personalized advertising in your device settings (Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy → Apple Advertising).

3. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services, which process data as described in their own privacy policies:

Google Firebase Authentication and Google Sign-In — authentication
Google Cloud Firestore — cloud storage of account and gameplay data
Google Firebase Storage — hosting custom avatar images
Google AdMob and User Messaging Platform — advertising, measurement and consent choices (see Section 2.1)
OneSignal and Firebase Cloud Messaging — push-notification delivery and measurement
Google Play — distribution, security and diagnostics

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely in Google Cloud (Firebase). Access to your data is restricted by Firebase security rules so that only you can modify your own account data.

5. Data Retention

We keep your account and gameplay data for as long as your account exists. Data is permanently deleted when you delete your account (see Section 6).

6. Account Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time:

In the App: Profile → Delete Account → type DELETE to confirm. This permanently removes your profile, quiz history, leaderboard entries, coins, gems, rewards and shop inventory.
Once deleted, your account cannot be recovered.

If you cannot access the App, use our external account-deletion request page or email keshabsarkar2018@gmail.com. Valid requests are normally processed within 30 days after account ownership is verified.

7. Children's Privacy

The App may be used by students. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
