No Docify server storing your documents
Docify is on-device first. Your photos, signatures, PDFs, CVs stay on phone unless you optionally back up to YOUR Google Drive.
1. On-device documents (default)
Method A — In app:
- Open Docify → Documents tab
- Tap file → Delete (trash icon) → Confirm
Method B — Uninstall:
- Android Settings → Apps → Docify → Uninstall
- Removes app-private folder with all saved documents
- Shared copies (WhatsApp, Email, Gallery) must be deleted from those apps
2. Google Drive backup (optional)
If you enabled Sync with Google Drive, files are in YOUR Drive.
Delete from Drive:
- Go to drive.google.com
- Find folder "Docify" in My Drive
- Select → Move to Trash → Empty Trash for permanent deletion
Revoke access:
- Go to myaccount.google.com/permissions
- Find Docify → Remove Access
- After revocation, Docify cannot read/write your Drive
Note: Signing out does NOT auto-delete Drive files. Local delete does NOT delete Drive — next sync offers restore unless you delete from Drive too.
3. Firebase Authentication (optional sign-in)
- In app: Profile → Account → Delete Account (if available) or Sign out
- Email request: Email keshabsarkar2018@gmail.com from same email you signed in with
Subject: "Delete my Docify account"
We delete Firebase user within 7 days and confirm via email.
4. Ads data (AdMob)
5. What we do NOT store
We do NOT operate a server storing your photos, signatures, PDFs, CVs, fingerprints, contacts, SMS, precise location. Nothing to delete on our side except optional Firebase Auth record.
6. Request via email
Email: keshabsarkar2018@gmail.com
Subject: Docify Data Deletion Request
Include: signed-in email (if any), what to delete (on-device, Drive, auth), device model optional.
We respond within 7 days.
7. Verification
- On-device: Documents tab empty after deletion
- Drive: Docify folder gone at drive.google.com
- Auth: Signing in again creates new account if previous deleted
