- Account Information: When you sign up, we collect your email address and display name via Firebase Authentication. You may also sign in using Google Sign-In.
- Profile Information: Profile photo (optional), learning preferences, and language level.
1.2 Learning Data
- Grammar lesson progress, quiz scores, vocabulary learning history
- Speaking practice recordings (processed locally on your device)
- Game scores, streaks, achievements, and XP
- Mock test results and performance analytics
1.3 Device Information
- Device model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers
- App version and usage statistics
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain our language learning services
- To track your learning progress and personalize your experience
- To send push notifications for learning reminders (with your consent)
- To improve our app through analytics
- To serve relevant advertisements via Google AdMob
- To provide customer support and respond to inquiries
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Firebase (Google): Authentication, Cloud Firestore (database), Cloud Storage, Analytics, Remote Config, and Crashlytics

4. Data Storage and Security
- Your learning progress is stored locally on your device using Hive and synced to Firebase Cloud Firestore
- We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data
- Speech recordings are processed in real-time on your device and are not stored on our servers
5. Advertising

- Access: You can access your account data within the app

SpeakEasy is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will promptly delete it.
8. Data Retention
We retain your account data as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data will be permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.
